Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Saint Paul University Philippines, the premiere university in the said city recently held an entrepreneurial and employability dialogue between its students and industry partners via its PATHWAY project taskforce.
The program dubbed as 100/20 Industry-Academe partnership orientation, was led by the university’s project PATHWAY (Promoting the employability and entrepreneurship of Higher Education graduates through innovative ways in the Philippines) last October 5 via ZOOM.
Around 200 students and 20 entrepreneurs participated in the consulation activity, tackling present and upcoming demands of companies and employers.
According to the university’s press release, the project aims to enhance entrepreneurship culture towards the employability of graduates, citing that the session was characterized by a jovial exchange between the representatives of various industries and student-participants.
Among the partner institutions that took part in the activity were Altasco-Bistro, Bangko Montañosa, Cagayan Economic Zone Authority, Department of Education, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Trade and Industry, GMB Travel and Tours, Golden Press, Hack the North PH, Junior Chamber International Philippines, My First Step, NorthTriamTech Inc., Pag-ibig Philippines, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Philippine Information Agency, Philippine Young Entrepreneurs Association, Private Export Consultancy, Reckitt Philippines, Sierra Chocolate, TLC IELTS Review Center, Ride Mommy, and St. Paul Hospital-Tuguegarao.
