As the cases in Cebu City continue to increase, Barangay San Nicolas is offering free disinfection for government and private vehicles at the barangay hall.
According to San Nicolas barangay captain Clifford Jude Niñal, this is meant to help prevent coronavirus transmission. He said he used his personal money to buy the disinfecting machine.
Those who want to avail of the offer are urged to proceed to the barangay hall from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
San Nicolas had initially planned to prioritize its residents but later decided to offer it to anyone, just like the free bus rides and free use of bus for funeral services which the barangay also offered during the general community quarantine.
