TO FURTHER speed up the rollout of vaccines in San Luis, Pampanga, the local government is preparing for the roving vaccination sites in all barangays.
Mayor Jayson Sagum said two teams will be deployed each day on specific barangays to administer vaccines on residents starting July.
The roving vaccination teams will go around the 15 barangays, while Barangay Poblacion and Sto. Tomas will still be catered at the existing vaccination site in Barangay Sto. Tomas.
“The rollout of vaccine per barangay will be scheduled. In this way, we will be able to minimize the crowding, lessen the travel time of residents and hopefully encourage more to get vaccinated,” he said.
Sagum also said that schedule of vaccination will be increased from two days to four days per week starting July.
He said around 600 doses of vaccines are targeted to be administered each day, making an average 2,400 to be inoculated per week.
