Based on the report of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Davao del Norte, a total of four new cases were recorded in the province as of Monday, June 6, as well as one recovery, and four deaths.
This brought the total active cases to six compared to two weeks prior on May 18 wherein the province recorded eight new cases that totaled to eight active cases, ten recoveries, and four deaths.
Among the four new cases and four deaths, three new cases and three deaths came from the municipality of Sto. Tomas, and one new case and one new death from Tagum City. The lone recovery case came from Panabo City.
Furthermore, the PHO is also investigating three probable cases of Person Under Investigation and 24 Person Under Monitoring.
Based on their overall tally, Davao del Norte has recorded a total of 24,718 Covid-19 cases with 23,275 recoveries and 1,437 deaths.
Of this, Tagum City has the most total confirmed cases with 10,603, followed by Panabo City with 4,200.
The local government unit with the least total cases are the municipality of San Isidro with 375, and B.E. Dujali with 451 cases. (ICM)
