The House of Representatives is negotiating to purchase COVID-19 vaccines for the protection of its staff and employees, Bacolod Rep. Greg Gasataya said.
Gasataya said the procurement of the vaccines will be in coordination with the national government.
The solon said he is willing to be vaccinated for his own protection and that of others. But this will depend on the schedule to be provided by the committee in-charge because there are some who should be given priority, like the medical frontliners, health providers, among others.
The intention of Congress is to ensure that its staff and employees will be protected from the present pandemic, Gasataya added.*
