ONLY one coronavirus case has been logged in Pampanga on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in one of the lowest case incidences this year since the Omicron variant surge.
The number of active cases has also been decreasing with only 819 remaining in Pampanga, according to the official coronavirus tracker of the Department of Health.
At least 619 active cases were in different towns and cities of the province while 200 cases were from Angeles City.
The total number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic in 2020 reached 88,105, with some 85,432 recoveries. The death toll from the pandemic reached some 1,854 individuals.
Incidence of virus infection in the last 14 days have also been on the decline.
Some 60 cases were recorded in Pampanga in the last 14 days while 31 were recorded in Angeles City for the same period.
Pampanga’s bed occupancy rate still remained at 7.6 percent. Some 43 health facilities were virtually freed from occupancy of coronavirus patients with the ongoing decline of cases.
