ANOTHER frontline worker in the agricultural town of Magalang, Pampanga has contracted the novel coronavirus, according to a report.
The patient named M176 is one of the two new coronavirus cases the Municipal Health Office (MHO) reported on February 4, 2021.
Patient M177 is a 30-year-old woman from Barangay San Nicolas 1.
She is set to be transferred to a government facility for isolation and treatment.
Her family contacts were placed under home quarantine by the local Covid-19 task force.
The MHO also recorded the town’s 176th cases on February 4, 2021.
Patient M176 is a resident of Santa Lucia Resettlement Center Phase 1. She had no close contacts, according to the local government unit.
These two new cases brought the total number of confirmed active Covid-19 patients in Magalang to 17.
The LGU is appealing to the public to always follow the Minimum Health Standards set by the Department of Health to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
