The mobility of Bacolod City Police Office got a further boost after it received yesterday eight units of Kawasaki Versys motorcycles from the city government of Bacolod.
Each motorcycle unit costs about P500,000, disclosed BCPO director, PCol. Thomas Joseph Martir.
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez yesterday turned over the motorcycles to Martir, in behalf of the BCPO.
Martir disclosed that that motorcycles will be issued to the BCPO Traffic Enforcement Unit.
In previous months, BCPO also received six units of Mitsubishi Strada pickup trucks from the City Government.
The vehicles are expected strengthen the capabilities of the BCPO it terms of police visibility and enhance its effectiveness in police response.*
