The medical mission was led by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, along with several volunteer doctors and health care providers.
The patients received free medical consultation and tests including those with various health conditions, such as cataracts, pterygium, reproductive health problems, hypertension, diabetes, and kidney complications among others.
Aside from the free consultation, each patient was also given free medicines.
Some 51 patients were scheduled for minor operations.
The Provincial Health Office (PHO) said the medical mission aims to provide free healthcare services to people, especially to those with various health conditions emphasizing on the importance of preventive care.
The vice-governor encouraged all Kapampangans to participate in the succeeding medical missions of the provincial government as it intends to bring the programs and services of the provincial government closer to the people, especially those who are in need.
