This is far from the situation at the end of June when there were seven municipalities namely Magalang, Sta. Rita, Candaba, Macabebe, Masantol, Minalin and San Luis were free from Covid-19.
On the PESU same report, it said that the active Covid-19 cases in the province were at 273, of which 26 were logged during the day.
Of the 273, the City of San Fernando had the highest number of active cases with 82, followed by Angeles City with 51; Lubao with 27; Mabalacat City with 17; and Floridablanca with 12.
The town of Bacolor logged nine active cases; Mexico with eight; Guagua and Arayat with seven each; Sasmuan and Apalit with six each; Magalang, Sta. and San Simon with five each; and Porac and San Luis with four each.
Sto. Tomas town had three active cases while Candaba, Macabebe and Minalin had two each.
During the start of the pandemic in April 2020, Masantol, situated at the southernmost part of Pampanga, also remained the lone municipality that was not infected by Covid-19 until it logged first-ever case in August 2020.
