In its case bulletin no. 120 issued Thursday, February 24, the number of active Covid-19 cases in Central Luzon was only 5,087.
The cases have significantly decreased from the around 30,000 recorded in the region during the last week of January.
From the seven provinces, Bulacan still has the highest number of active cases with 2,192; followed by Pampanga with 978; Bataan with 630; and Nueva Ecija with 594.
Tarlac province also logged 469 active cases, Zambales had 189, and Aurora had 35.
In total, Central Luzon had confirmed Covid-19 cases of 359,339, of which 347,227 have recovered while 6,515 succumbed to the disease.
