Forty-four of the new cases are from different towns and cities of Pampanga, while the remaining nine new cases were reported from Angeles City.
This brought the total number of confirmed cases in the province since the start of the pandemic to 69,138 cases.
Some 67,179 cases have since recovered from the virus.
Deaths from the pandemic remained at 1,742. No deaths were reported in Pampanga and Angeles City in the past 14 days.
Pampanga’s bed occupancy rate also rose to 7.4 percent, with 71 of the total 955 hospital beds in 46 health facilities now occupied for Covid-19 patients.
Pampanga is still second in the whole region in terms of the number of confirmed cases. Bulacan ranked at the top with 105,347 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic. Pampanga is also second in terms of the number of deaths in Central Luzon.
In the whole region, 253 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded, mostly from Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija.
