This brought the cumulative number of Covid-19 infections in the city to 20,455.
According to City Health Office medical officer Dr Ted Yu, of the seven new cases, two were locally stranded individuals (LSIs), one was a returning overseas Filipino worker (ROF), one was a local index case, and two were local cases with link.
The city also logged one mortality.
The active cases in Cagayan de Oro went up to 21, of which 11 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, nine were outpatients, and one ROF/LSI.
The total number of recoveries in the city remains at 19.582.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 852.
