THE Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) has opened a satellite office at Harbor Point Ayala Mall inside Subic Freeport that issues International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) or yellow cards.
This was learned from Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chair and Administrator Wilma Eisma, who said this is for people who plan to travel abroad.
Yellow cards record the required vaccinations administered on an individual prior to travel abroad, according to Eisma.
The ICVs include mandatory inoculations for yellow fever, typhoid, and Covid-19, the SBMA chief added. The satellite office is located on the second floor and opens Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“All you have to do is apply online and once your application is approved, you can pick up your cards at the BOQ satellite office right here,” Eisma said.
For online appointments, one can visit www.icv.boq.ph.
The BOQ immediately issues the yellow cards after screening and validation of the individual’s information, Eisma said.
