CITY of San Fernando Mayoralty aspirant Rosve Henson, together with his team, filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Friday, October 1, 2021, as he arrived early at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) under the campaign banner of “better governance” for Fernandinos.
Before filing, Henson’s team dubbed Team Stronger Together attended a thanksgiving mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando together with family members and select supporters.
Henson, in his speech, said their team’s agenda will focus on better governance that will help the city and its people hurdle the challenges of the current pandemic.
Henson said regular programs will not be effective without a strong resilience plan against the coronavirus pandemic. He added that the programs will aim at providing all necessary assistance to Fernandinos from birth to death.
“From womb to tomb, we aim to serve the needs of Fernandinos, But we can only do this with an effective resilience plan through the help of our future city council,” Henson said.
Henson filed his COC before Comelec supervisor lawyer June Guiao along with his running mate Councilor BJ “Tiger” Lagman, who filed his COC for the vice-mayoralty post.
Lagman is an incumbent city councilor of the City of San Fernando.
His lineup includes three returning councilors — Ato Agustin, Barangay Captain Rhegis Evaristo, lawyer Raul Macalino and Barangay Captain Rosemary Calimlim. Incumbent Councilor Dein Henson is also seeking another term under the same team.
The lineup also includes newbies Donny Sayre, Jun Ong and Engr. Aurelio Brenz Gonzales, the son of third district Rep. Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales, Jr.
The team is running under the Kambilan Party led Vice Governor Lilia Pineda.
