THE Clark International Airport (CRK) has announced that the guidelines for domestic travel in Clark Freeport have been relaxed.
Based on the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) resolution, fully vaccinated travelers are no longer required to present negative Covid-19 test results, the CRK management stated.
“Good news! Rules for domestic interzonal travel have been relaxed, as per latest resolution from IATF-MEID,” it said. “Travelers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 are now only required to present proof of complete vaccination instead of Covid-19 test results.”
Fully vaccinated persons are those who have received the second dose no less than two weeks.
Vaccines received must be under the Philippine Food and Drug Administration Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) List or given through a Compassionate Special Permit (CSP).
The airport released a general requirement — an official Covid-19 domestic vaccination card signed by a legitimate vaccinating establishment or a Certificate of Quarantine Completion showing the holder’s vaccination status issued by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ).
All travelers are still required to undergo health and exposure screening protocol upon arrival at destination.
Aside from this, travelers are still need to follow basic safety protocols such as the wearing of face mask and shields, social distancing, and regular disinfection.
New rules on interzonal travel also apply to fully vaccinated senior citizens.
