These typhoon-hit residents are living in 13 barangays of the city.
This was announced by City Councilor Jerry Guardo, head of Task Force Odette, after getting the go signal from Mayor Michael Rama to distribute the cash assistance to the fifth batch of beneficiaries from the different barangays.
These barangays include Bulacao with 2,808 beneficiaries; Punta Princesa, 1,311; Buot, 401; Basak San Nicolas, 3,275; Inayawan, 3,445; Pasil, 674; Paril, 331; Lusaran, 289; Ermita, 1,214; Quiot, 2,498; Sambag 2, 394; Poblacion Pardo, 600; and Pasil, 834.
A total of P90,370,000 will be given by the City to the 18,074 beneficiaries through a house-to-house distribution.
“Pinaagi sa house to house distribution – makita gyud ang actual occupants sa balay ug ma-verify ug kon dunay nag double entry sa usa ka panimalay (Through house to house distribution the actual occupants of the house can be seen and verified and double entry of names in a household can be avoided),” Guardo said.
