THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) has released lists of aspirants who wish to run for local posts in the diffent cities and municipalities of Cebu Island for the Elections 2022.
From October 1 to 8, 2021, aspirants filed their certificates of candidacy (COC) before the Comelec of their respective localities.
Philippine National Police Chief General Guillermo Eleazar earlier said the week-long filing of COCs in the country was generally peaceful.
