The top five barangays in Cagayan de Oro City now have less than five active Covid-19 cases left.
Based on the data presented by the City Health Office, as of March 13, 2022, Barangays Carmen and Canitoan have four active cases each, followed by Barangays Balulang, Gusa and Kauswagan with three active cases each.
The cumulative number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro has dropped to 33, of which 19 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, and 14 were outpatients.
Meanwhile, the majority or 88 percent of Covid-19 mortalities recorded in Cagayan de Oro City were unvaccinated individuals.
As of March 13, the city had a total of 934 Covid-19 deaths, of which 821 were unvaccinated individuals while 113 were vaccinated individuals.
