But Diaz said that the provincial government would like to utilize the stocks at hand in the meantime because they cannot accept more than what we need.
He said that it would be unfair for other areas that badly needed the vaccines.

The official said that it would entail additional expenditures for the provincial government.
During the time of the procurement of the vaccines, the provincial government only bought 100,000 dozes from AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical company.
Asked about the status of these vaccines, Diaz said, “we entrust that to the Provincial Health office to keep track of the inventory.”
Meanwhile, Diaz said that the provincial government will continue to rally for the residents to avail of the vaccines and have booster shots.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson on Thursday asked the help of the Association of Chief Executives in the province to help in the Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
