“We haven’t decided yet if we will disallow the public to enter at the Capitol premises if they are not vaccinated,” the governor said.
Last week, Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalante made vaccination a requirement for all public transport drivers and operators, and for city employees in public markets and city-owned buildings or facilities.
Escalante said passenger buses driven by unvaccinated persons and those without valid coronavirus disease (Covid-19) negative test results would be prevented from entering the city.
As for provincial employees, Lacson said they are still discussing the need to implement a mandatory vaccination policy.
“We need to know how many employees are still unvaccinated (but) I like to think we only have a few numbers,” he said.
