ILOILO – A wanted person in the municipality of Mina was arrested in the town’s Barangay Cabalabaguan.
The 26-year-old Ruben Activa, a resident of Barangay Amiroy, Mina, was charged with two counts of rape.
The Mina Municipal Police Station (MPS) Tracker Team, led by Police Captain Rogie Panela, arrested Activa around 2:59 p.m. on Monday, April 17.
“Bale ang kaso niya is rape by carnal knowledge nga nakomiter niya around last year. Allegedly, ang victim sini was girlfriend niya man,” said Panela.
Judge Vicente V. Go of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 68 in Dumangas, Iloilo issued the arrest warrant.
Activa is currently being held at the Mina MPS./PN
