Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The Inter-Agency Task Force has announced on Tuesday, that Alert Level 1 will be retained over the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Batanes, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya from July 1 to 15.
The pandemic task force told reporters the lowest alert level will be maintained in all five provinces of Region 2 due to the low Daily Attack Rate of COVID-19 as well as the relaxed hospital occupancy rates.
As of Monday night, June 27, Cagayan province has 32 active COVID-19 infections, Isabela with 30, while Batanes and Quirino remain COVID-19 free.
The Nueva Vizcaya provincial health office has yet to confirm if it is still COVID-19 free.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health said there are still no confirmed samples of the new Omicron strains from all provinces of Cagayan Valley.
Based on the IATF, the National Capital Region will also remain under Alert Level 1 despite its rising numbers of COVID-19 along with 84 other provinces nationwide. TNF
