The Commission on Elections has presented all Vote Counting Machines (VCM) for the 2022 polls to the public and the media on Monday, April 4, at Echague, Isabela.
The presentation activity was led by Comelec Echague Officer Roxas Miriam Tesorero, Echague PNP Chief Major Michael Esteban for the viewing of journalists, local bets and their supporters.
The poll body said the event was held to gain the trust of the public and to assure them that the machines are functioning properly.
Comelec also assured to the press that they have spare machines and technicians on standby if faced with technical issues.
Also present during the event were mayoral candidates retired General Emilio Calanagn Culang Jr., incumbent Mayor Kiko Dy, and other candidates as well as representatives of the said province.
