Municipal Administrator Dennis Isip said the new town hall will be erected in Barangay Sta. Monica.
“The vision of our Mayor Darwin Manalansan is to make Floridablanca a city in the coming years and the construction of the new and modern town hall will be a boost to that dream,” Isip said.
He disclosed that the construction of a new facility will be financed through a bank loan.
Isip said the local government is planning to take a P320-million from the Development Bank of the Philippines.
Isip said the loan will be used to purchase a lot and construct the structure.
“P150-million will be allocated for the acquisition of the five-hectare lot in Barangay Sta. Monica while the remaining P170-million will be used for the construction of the multi-purpose building,” he said.
Isip said consultations and public hearing for the proposed project have been conducted.
