Pineda’s reminder came as face-to-face classes resumed the last week of July.
The governor said complete dose of vaccine will be the student’s armor against Covid-19.
Currently, the Department of Health has authorized Pfizer brand for booster dose of children ages 5 to 11 years old.
“Humingi na ako ng assistance sa mga mayors natin na i-prioritize ang mga bata sa pagbabakuna para protektado sila pagpasok sa eskwela,” Pineda said.
The governor also asked for the assistance of parents and teachers in reminding students to practice basic health protocols.
“Siyempre maliban sa bakuna, parati mag-mask pa rin at proper hygiene ang dapat i-remind pa rin sa mga bata,” he said.
