Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. cast his vote around 8 a.m. at his assigned precinct at the Angeles City Elementary School in Barangay Pulungbulu.
Lazatin lined up and waited for his turn to vote, skipping any special treatment.
Lazatin urged Angeleños to exercise their right to vote and choose candidates based on their conscience. He also reiterated his call for peaceful and honest elections.
Lazatin is running against incumbent Councilor Amos Rivera.
Meanwhile, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo cast his vote around 6:30 a.m. at his assigned precinct at the Santos Ventura Elementary School in Barangay Tabun.
Garbo also did not receive any special treatment.
Garbo’s Team MCG has received endorsement from Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda and support from different sectors in the society.
Given the overwhelming support, Garbo and his team are convinced that their whole slate will win the elections.
Garbo’s rival include former Mayor Marino Morales and broadcaster Deng Pangilinan.
