The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker placed the total number of confirmed cases in the Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 88,262 cases with 85, 951 recoveries.
Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have not increased from the 1,855 recorded cases since last week, according to the DOH.
Pampanga has reported some 52 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported another 40 cases for the same period.
Only one virus-related death was recorded in the last 14 days.
Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing a decrease in the number of bed occupancies.
The rate of occupancy in the region was at 2.4 percent, the lowest yet since the omicron variant surge. This meant that 702 of the total 719 hospital beds in Pampanga devoted to coronavirus cases were available.
Some 40 health facilities in Pampanga were at the safe level with the ongoing decrease in cases.
