WITH a vision of further developing his hometown, incumbent Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque has filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for reelection on Friday noon, October 1, 2021.

Prior to his filing of COC, Maglanque, together with his runningmate Vice Mayor Michael Sagum and councilorables Nelson Alonzo, Jao Bondoc, Alvin Carpio, Cha Dela Cruz, Thelma Macapagal, Siso Maglanque and Maine Santiago, attended an intimate mass held at his house.

When asked what his priority will be if elected for second term, Maglanque said he wants to construct more bypass roads, upgrade the level of the existing community hospital, improve the quality of education of the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Candaba campus, and create a recovery plan after the pandemic.

Maglanque also gave credit to his partners in public service, the Sangguniang Bayan members, who gave full support to all his programs, especially concerning Covid-19 response.

Recognizing the contributions to the progress of this town, Maglanque said he is open for and will seek the guidance of former leaders to sustain the development they have started.

Reelectionist Vice Mayor Sagum, for his part, vowed to provide the necessary legislative support for Maglanque’s projects should their tandem be voted in anew.
