MORE than P700,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized by local authorities during a buy-bust operation recently launched in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
The methampethamine hydrochloride (shabu) was seized from two suspects identified as Richard Cayanan, 28, of nearby City of San Fernando, and Kennex Musngi, 26, of Mexico town.
Four sachets of shabu weighing approximately 105 grams with estimated street value of P714,000 were recovered from the duo.
Appropriate charges for violations of Section 5 in relation to Section 26 and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared against the suspects.
