THE City Government of Davao has vaccinated 736 individuals, as of January 12, 2022, through the booster dose-exclusive drive-thru vaccination hub in Crocodile Park.

“As of January 12, we have already vaccinated 736 for that day alone,” said Dr. Michelle Schlosser, spokesperson of Davao City Covid-19 Task Force.

Additionally, 2,152 total individuals were jabbed in People’s Park, which also caters drive-thru vaccination for senior citizens and persons with comorbidities or disabilities.

Schlosser said approximately 96 percent of the city’s target population have been vaccinated with the first dose, while 91 percent are already fully vaccinated.

As of January 10, 2022, data from the Davao City Vaccination Cluster showed that the City Government already administered 1,247,949 first doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine; 1,181,807 second doses; and 70,885 booster shots.

Meanwhile, the mobile vaccination program of Davao City Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte and the City Council recorded 65 booster doses administered as of January 13, with 234 first doses, and seven second doses administered in Barangay Tapak. A total of 468 second doses and 12 booster doses were administered in Barangay Magtuod, as of January 12.

“(When) the vaccine cluster already gave the green light to accommodate booster shots through mobile vaccination, the teams immediately proceeded,” said Harvey Lanticse of the Office of the Vice Mayor.

Since it started in 2021, the mobile vaccination program has administered 108,433, including 77,417 second doses or fully vaccinated individuals and a total of 1,294 booster doses.

“It’s actually a good number pero dili pa gihapon ta muundang na i-reach atong goal na 100 percent (It’s actually a good number but we will not stop here, our goal is 100 percent),” said Schlosser.

The drive-thru vaccination hub for booster doses in Crocodile Park is currently ongoing from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Individuals aged 18 years and above and are fully vaccinated for three months are qualified to be administered.
