“So far, we do not have any reported case of Omicron,” Schlosser said during the Bida Bakunado Program of Davao City Disaster Radio on December 10, 2021.
The spokesperson said that two individuals from South Africa who are currently being contact-traced are not confirmed Omicron cases and are not from Davao City.
In addition, Schlosser said the local government unit (LGU) of Davao continues to enforce strong measures when entering Davao City.
“Grabe gyod kaayo ang pag bantay nato sa mga naga-enter diri sa Davao City,” she said. “In fact, pag naay muabot na OFW or returning Filipinos, dili mana sila ginapabalik sa ilahang balay, we have facility-based quarantine.”
According to Schlosser, quarantine and negative RT-PCR test results are required from returning travelers.
