THE mobile vaccination program of Davao City, which launched in August 2021, has inoculated 101,140 individuals as of December 8, according to the Office of Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte.

Harvey Lanticse of the Office of the Vice Mayor said during the Madayaw Davao segment of the Davao City Disaster Radio on December 9 that 65,707 of the total number are already fully vaccinated.

While the recent stint of the mobile vaccination on December 8 administered 583 first doses in Barangay Mulig and 744 second doses in Barangay Tungkalan.

“Mao man pud atong purpose ani is madala ang bakuna didto sa mga hilit na lugar, mga barangay na lagyo sa fixed vaccination sites,” said Lanticse.

(The purpose of the mobile vaccination is to reach out to more beneficiaries in far-flung areas.)

Lanticse said the mobile vaccination reached 100,000 on December 7 after 220 first doses and 10 second doses were administered in Baguio district, 368 first doses in Barangay 22-C, and 330 second doses in Barangay San Antonio.

Meanwhile, the door-to-door vaccination program, also under the office of Vice Mayor Duterte, fully vaccinated 177 individuals and administered 264 first doses.

“Magpadayon gihapon tag sulod sa atong mga barangay, labi na didto sa mga hilit na lugar sa siyudad kay ubay-ubay pa man gihapon ang mga wala pa nabakunahan, mag dugang pa tag pag pasabot,” Lanticse said.

(We will continue with the mobile vaccination to reach those in far-flung areas because many are still unvaccinated and need to be informed about the vaccines.)

The Office of the Vice Mayor will continue the mobile vaccination, including the rollout of second doses in the following days.
