Most of the top 11 barangays in Cagayan de Oro City now have only one active Covid-19 case left.
Based on the data presented by the City Health Office, as of April 7, 2022, Barangay Carmen had five active cases.
Barangays Mambuaya, Iponan, Puntod, Bonbon, Lumbia, Bugo, Patag, Camaman-an, and Barangays 20 and 15 have one active case each.
The cumulative number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro has dropped to 15, of which nine were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, five were outpatients, and one returning overseas Filipino/locally stranded individual (ROF/LSI).
Majority or 88 percent of Covid-19 mortalities recorded in Cagayan de Oro City were unvaccinated individuals.
As of April 7, the city had a total of 935 Covid-19 deaths, of which 821 were unvaccinated individuals while 114 were vaccinated individuals.
