Of the 136 active infections in the city, 90 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city, 42 were outpatients, and four were returning overseas Filipinos/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs).
According to City Health Office medical officer Dr. Teodoro Yu Jr., Cagayan de Oro recorded only 16 new cases, of which six were index cases, nine were authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and one Apor with link.
The cumulative number of infections in the city was at 25,667.
The city also registered 20 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as “recovered.” This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 24,603.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remained at 928.
