THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has gone all the way down to a single digit after the city recorded only three new cases, the City Health Office reported.
This brought the number of Covid-19 cases in the city to 20,386.
According to the City Health Office, one of the three new local cases was a local index case and two were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors).
Cagayan de Oro’s active cases have also gone down to 202, of which 46 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 155 were outpatients, and one ROF/LSI.
The city also registered 23 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as “recovered.” This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 19,336.
The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has remained at 848 in total.
