A TOTAL of 151,348 individuals in Cagayan de Oro have received their doses of Covid-19 vaccines as of August 3, 2021.

Of the 151,348 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 102,319 got their first dose of the vaccines while 49,029 were fully vaccinated.

According to the data presented by Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno during the daily press briefing at the city hall, among the 151,348 vaccinees, 22,133 were frontline health care workers, 49,713 were senior citizens, 57,298 were persons with comorbidities, 19,982 were essential frontline workers, and 2,222 were other from the Filipino-Chinese community.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated Covid-positive individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 1,749, city epidemiologist Dr. Joselito Retuya reported.

According to Retuya, of the 1,749 vaccinees, 1,157 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 362 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 126 with Pfizer, 88 with Sputnik V, 13 with Janssen, and three with Sinopharm.

Of the 1,157 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 872 individuals experienced mild symptoms, 199 were asymptomatic, 81 were moderate cases, and five were severe cases.

Among the 362 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 251 individuals had mild symptoms, 81 were asymptomatic, 28 had moderate symptoms, and two were severe cases.

Of the 126 Pfizer vaccinees, 90 individuals had mild symptoms, 28 were asymptomatic, and eight were moderate cases.

Among the 88 Sputnik V vaccinees, 69 had mild symptoms, 11 were asymptomatic, and eight were moderate cases.

Among the 13 Janssen vaccinees, 11 had mild symptoms, and two were asymptomatic.

Of the three Sinopharm vaccinees, two had mild symptoms and one was asymptomatic.

Of the 1,749 total vaccinated confirmed Covid-positive individuals, 894 were fully vaccinated.
