Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, a supporter of presidential bet Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. along with Abang Lingkod Party-list Representative Stephen Paduano and Don Salvador Benedito Mayor Marxlen Dela Cruz were the guests during the gathering.
Former Murcia Mayor Estaban “Sonny” Coscolluela earlier assured that supporters will deliver a landslide victory to Marcos and his runningmate vice-presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio in Negros Occidental.
In the May 9 local and national elections, which is only a week to go, Coscolluela, who is the spokesperson of the BBM-Sara campaign in the province, said several organizations like youth, drivers, the lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender, queer (LGBTQ) community, fisherfolk and urban poor, among others, have already pledged support for Marcos.
This is on top of the 28 mayors in the province who have earlier declared support for the BBM-Sara tandem.
Meanwhile, Ferrer said the schedules of Marcos and Duterte-Carpio are still being finalized for the possibility of the two or either of them returning to the province before Election Day.
