Acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles announced yesterday, February 14, that aside from Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, also under Alert Level 2 are Aklan, Antique and Capiz in Western Visayas.
Iloilo City, Iloilo Province and Guimaras were placed Alert Level 3 during the same period.
Em Ang, executive director of Emergency Operations Center – Task Force, said Bacolod City’s Covid-19 cases continue to decrease since last week.
“For the last two weeks or more, Bacolod City recorded two-digits of new Covid cases and we are hopeful to maintain low cases of Covid-19,” she said.
As of February 14, Bacolod City has a total of 26, 936 Covid-19 cases. Of the number, 25, 817 patients already recovered, 1, 031 active cases with 823 deaths.
On that day, the city logged total of 19 new Covid-19 cases with 285 new recoveries.*
