ILOILO – A total of 6,959 children here from five to 11 years old were vaccinated against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) last week – the first rollout week of the pediatric vaccination.
Data from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) from Feb. 14 to Feb. 18 showed the following number of vaccinated kinds from the 267,470 target population:

The towns of Ajuy, Cabatuan, Janiuay, Maasin, Leon, and Zarraga have yet to submit to the PHO their vaccination report.
According to Dr. Maria Socorro Colmenares-Quiñon, PHO chief, the rollout was orderly.
Among the vaccination venues of the provincial government were West Visayas State University – Cultural Center in La Paz, Iloilo City; Robinson Place in Barangay Ungka II, Pavia, and Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian town.
The 42 towns and component city of Passi have their Rural Health Units and municipal covered gyms as venues.
