ILOILO – Eleven more employees of the Iloilo provincial capitol tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), confirmed Atty. Suzette Mamon, provincial administrator.
These employees – some were symptomatic – were part of the contact tracing conducted after 15 others earlier tested positive for the viral disease.
They are currently isolating at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility at the Iloilo Sports Complex in La Paz district.
As of Wednesday, the capitol had 26 total coronavirus cases.
Despite this, Mamon said work resumes today, Sept. 9.
Mamon reminded the transacting public to follow the safety measures and protocols, and those feeling sick should just stay at home so as not to put others at risk./PN
