Malapit ng maabot ng Municipal Health Office ng bayan ng Rizal ang herd immunity laban sa COVID-19 matapos umabot sa 21,669 ang mga nabakunahan sa lugar, katumbas ng 55.84% ng kabuuang target nito.

Ayon sa datos ng MHO Rizal, 44.16% o 17,136 na lamang ng mga residente ang kinakailangang bakunahan. 1,938 dito ay partially vaccinated kung saan makukompleto ng mga ito ang kanilang second dose sa mga susunod na buwan.

Umabot naman sa 2,513 individuals o katumbas ng 6.48 % ang nabigyan ng MHO para sa booster shots sa kanilang bayan.

Ayon kay Dr. Kathreen Stephanie Luz Micu, Health officer ng Rizal, puspusan ang kanilang kampanya sa mga barangay na may kaugnayan sa massive vaccination ng DOH.

Nanawagan naman ito sa mga hindi pa rin nagpapabakuna sa kanilang bayan na maaari silang magtungo sa MHO mula araw ng Lunes hanggang Biyernes.
