Starting Thursday, until October 3, the Baguio – La Trinidad – Itogon – Sablan – Tuba – Tublay (BLISTT) area will be on lockdown, restricting all travel through the borders.

Under a Joint Advisory by the BLISTT local chief executives, all travels through their  borders are now temporarily restricted.

Non-residents coming into the area from outside for non-essential purposes will no longer be allowed.

Meanwhile, travel restrictions have also been put in place for inter-BLISTT travel.

Authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) and workers in permitted industries can travel through the BLISTT borders under the provision of any of the following: a municipal, provincial or city task force or contact tracer ID card, a valid work ID, a certificate of employment, proof of confirmed essential appointment in any government, private, or medical facility, and a Barangay Certificate as proof of employment in informal industries, valid starting September 27.

All BLISTT travel for essential goods or services is also restricted to certain schedules that each local government may impose on its residents.

At the same time, all individuals below the age of 17 and above the age of 65 are urged to stay at home except for indispensable, essential purposes.

Meanwhile, the Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual Highway has been marked for use only for essential cargoes, while other travelers must use the Marcos Highway.
