THE Department of Health-Davao Region (DOH-Davao) has recorded 782 new cases from August 29 to September 4, 2022 — a slight decrease from the previous week.
Based on the September 5 case bulletin published by DOH-Davao, the data is 2.7 percent lower than the cases reported from August 22 to 28, where 804 cases were reported.
The previous week’s new cases are also lower by 7.7 percent than the cases reported a week before.
The latest data’s new cases has a daily average of 112 cases, where 13 new severe and critical cases were reported.
As for the healthcare utilization data as of September 4, the intensive care unit (ICU) bed utilization rate is at 62.7 percent. This is a slight decrease from the 63.3 percent rate from August 28.
Non-ICU bed utilization, however, increased from 40 percent in August 28 to 50.9 percent in September 4.
Healthcare utilization rates from both bed classifications is still at the safe level, according to DOH’s classifications. RGL
