Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya – A 43-year-old laborer has been arrested by authorities on October 1 for allegedly cultivating Marijuana plants in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
Local police have identified the suspect as Mark Bulhayon, a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Paitan in the said town.
Based on the police report, Bulhayon’s arrest was the result of a joint anti-illegal drugs operation of the 1st Nueva PPO, Bayombong Police Station and the PDEU.
Authorities have seized a fully-grown Marijuana plant, a pack of an uprooted plant, and 4 plastic containers bearing dried Marijuana leaves.
The suspect is now under the custody of PNP Bayombong and will be facing charges for violation of RA9165 or Section 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. TNF
