Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – The state weather bureau said at 11AM on Wednesday, that Tropical Depression ‘Maymay’ keeps its strength while moving slowly towards east of Central Luzon, bringing dense rains over Cagayan, northern Isabela, Kalinga, Apayao, Ifugao and other parts of Region 2 and CAR.
PAGASA said that as of noon time, Tropical Depression Maymay was last spotted at 310kms East NorthEast of Baler, Aurora packing winds of 45kph and gusts reaching 55kph.
Signal No.1 is also up over Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and extreme Quezon province including the Pollilo Islands.
In its forecast, heavy with intense rainfall is experienced over Cagayan, northern Isabela, Mountain Province, Kalinga and Ifugao while light to occassionally heavy rains are expected in the rest of Cagayan Valley and CAR.
