Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Aside from Tropical Depression Maymay, PAGASA said it is monitoring another TD moving generally northwestward in the next 24 hours. Once inside PAR, the storm will be given its domestic name ‘Neneng’.
The state weather bureau said the weather disturbance is currently travelling at a speed of 20kph towards extreme Northern Luzon with winds of 45kph near the center and gusts reaching 55kph.
The agency also bared that it may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Thursday, Oct 13 in the moring or afternoon and may reach Tropical Storm category by Friday.
Heavy rainfall is expected over Northen Luzon and nearby provinces once the Tropical Storm goes over extreme Northen Luzon starting Saturday, October 15.
Meanwhile, TD Maymay is now pounding Cagayan Valley, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ifugao, CAR and Central Luzon with dense rainfall as it moves towards Eastern Central Luzon to make landfall. TNF
