Solano, Nueva Vizcaya – A 35-year-old driver has been arrested by authorities in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya on Monday night, Oct 10, for allegedly selling methamphetamine hydrochloride or ‘shabu.’
Local police identified the suspect as Romel Guillermo, a resident of Barangay Lactawan in the said town.
Guillermo was arrested at the By-Pass Road along Barangay Bahabag in the said town around 11:30pm on Monday night in a joint buy-bust operation between the Solano Police Station and the Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit.
Among the items seized from the suspect are 1 plastic sachet with shabu, 6 empty packets and some cash.
The suspect is now under the custody of the authorities and will be facing charges for violation of RA9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. TNF
