The Shellfish Bulletin No. 20 Series of 2022 noted that shellfish samples collected from the coastal waters of Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan and Zambales are negative from the paralytic shellfish poison.
This means that all types of shellfish gathered from these areas are safe for human consumption.
The coastal waters in parts of Capiz, Zambaonga Del Sur, Masbate, Eastern Samar, Bohol and Surigao del Sur are positive from the toxin.
Consumers from the said area are advised not to eat all types of shellfish gathered from the said areas.
