“I WILL run again for governor.”
This was said by Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda before a group of supporters who assembled at the Kingsborough Function Hall Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
Pineda turned down any further speculation on what he will be running for in the May 2022 elections.
Pineda is seeking reelection with incumbent Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda.
The mother-and-son tandem filed their certificates of candidacy before the office of the Commission on Elections here.
Governor Pineda said he will be continuing the achievements and developments started by his administration.
A grateful Vice Governor Pineda thanked the support of the four representatives of the district. She said the next campaign season should not set aside the need to push for the pandemic programs for Kapampangans.
“Next year is not about the elections. It is still about the pandemic and our responsibility to help our people and the economy bounce back,” Vice-Governor Pineda said.
